minimum of 30 minutes of physical activity every day for every student. This can be achieved through any combination of physical education classes, physical activity breaks, facilitated recess, before and after school activities, intramurals, sports programs and special events. Saskatchewan
in motion encourages schools to look beyond the traditional choices for physical activity throughout the school day. Many opportunities exist where physical activity can be incorporated and used as a tool to enhance student learning and foster positive physical activity experiences for every student.
